On 17–18 September, more than 170 participants from across Lao PDR gathered for the 2nd National Pro Bono and Legal Aid Conference to strengthen pro bono services and make justice more accessible to all. The conference highlighted the important role of pro bono legal services through legal aid offices and other channels as an integral part of the national legal aid system. 🇱🇦 🤝 🇱🇺 The conference was organised in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and the Lao Bar Association, with financing from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg through the Rule of Law, Access to Justice and Good Governance (ROLAG) Programme, jointly implemented by the Ministry of Justice and LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency. ⚖️ Pro Bono is more than professional goodwill.
