On 17 September 2026, the Ministry of Justice launched the Legal Aid Website, a new platform connecting people across Lao PDR with legal information, assistance, and Legal Aid Offices. More than a website, it is a bridge between people and justice, helping individuals understand their rights, access support services, and know where to turn when legal help is needed. This initiative is supported through the partnership between the Ministry of Justice and the Rule of Law, Access to Justice, and Good Governance (ROLAG) Programme, financed by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and jointly implemented by the Ministry of Justice and LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency. On the margins of the 3rd Review Conference of the Convention on Cluster Munitions (CCM) currently taking place in Vientiane, the Luxembourg Embassy is proud to support a survivor-focused Side Event on Wednesday the 16th of September, 17h00, at the LNCC (Room 7).
