Two new projects were launched earlier this week in Thừa Thiên-Huế Province, Vietnam
Two new projects were launched earlier this week in Thừa Thiên-Huế Province , Vietnam: Climate Adaptation and Resilience in Thua Thien Hue Province (Project VIE/433) and Energy Efficient Lighting NAMA Pilot in Hue City (Project VIE/401), representing the first climate fund projects supported by Luxembourg in Vietnam. On the same occasion, the Climate Adapted Local Development and Innovation Project (VIE/033) was officially closed after a very successful implementation over a five-year period (2013-2018).
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Claude Jentgen, Chargé d’affaires of the Luxembourg Embassy in Laos and Mr. Gaston Schwartz, Managing Director of LuxDev - Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency . Ms. Carole Dieschbourg, Minister for the Environment of Luxembourg, delivered a keynote address through a video message.
