Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden - Luang Prabang “Skills for Tourism” Project (LAO/029)
Pha Tad Ke Botanical Garden - Luang Prabang conducted a 3-month practical training course on horticulture for young Lao people from rural areas in cooperation with the “Skills for Tourism” Project (LAO/029). Before graduating this week, participants receive guidance on how to present themselves during job interviews. Due to the high demand from hotels and resorts it is anticipated that all participants will find gainful employment as gardeners.
Pha Tad Ke is open to the public and well worth a visit. Make sure to include the botanical garden in your programme when in Luang Prabang!
The Skills for Tourism project is implemented by LuxDev - Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency with funding from Luxembourg and Swiss Cooperation Mekong .
