Legal Research seminar at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the National University of Laos
Today the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Luxembourg, Sam Schreiner, met with Professor Dr. Stefan Braum and a group of post graduate researchers from the Faculty of Law and Economics of the University of Luxembourg.
The team held a one-week long Legal Research seminar at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the National University of Laos attended by around 100 Laotian students, researchers and faculty members.
Based on the shared objectives of both the Lao and Luxembourg governments to strengthen the rule of law, the Faculty of Law and Economics of the University of Luxembourg and the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the National University of Laos signed a memorandum of understanding in 2016 on inter-university collaboration to further strengthen their ties. Since then, numerous exchanges have taken place between researchers, teachers and students of both universities.
Sam Schreiner congratulated Professor Baum and his team for their successful visit and for their continued commitment to strengthen the Lao-Luxembourg Cooperation in the field of Law and is looking forward to future visits and exchanges.
