An Agricultural Finance Workshop was organized this week by ADA Luxembourg and the FAO in cooperation with the Lao Microfinance Association and the Bank of the Lao PDR
An Agricultural Finance Workshop organized by ADA Luxembourg and the FAO in cooperation with the Lao Microfinance Association and the Bank of the Lao PDR marks the starting point of a long-term support to agricultural finance in Lao PDR, including a year-long coaching programme, complementing the existing support by ADA Luxembourg to the Lao Microfinance Association.
The programme is funded by the Government of Luxembourg.
ADA Luxembourg and the FAO launched the new Agricultural Finance Programme today in Vientiane with a one-week training workshop in the presence of Dr. Akhom Praseuth, Director general of the Financial Supervision Department of the Bank of the Lao PDR and Mr. Claude Jentgen, Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of Luxembourg.
The workshop marks the starting point of a long-term support to agricultural finance in Lao PDR, including a year-long coaching programme, complementing the existing support by ADA Luxembourg to the Lao Microfinance Association.
