A delegation comprised of Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Phouthone Muongpak and the Heads of Mission of the Luxembourg Embassy, Unicef Laos, UNFPA Laos and the WHO was welcomed today to Savannakhet Province by the provincial Deputy Governor.

was welcomed today to Savannakhet Province by the provincial Deputy Governor.
The three UN agencies have worked since 2011 with Luxembourg's support on maternal and child health in the province. Under the new phase of the Joint UN Programme on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health, this support will continue for the years 2017-2020, building on the success and experiences of the first phase.
