Built on joint expertise, regular exchanges, and hands-on cooperation, this partnership has delivered concrete results: strengthened national statistical systems, new capacities in GDP and inflation analysis, and the establishment of business statistics and economic forecasting. A key achievement is the creation of a dedicated environment statistics department within LSB—enabling better data, including the first nationwide household solid waste survey, positioning Lao PDR as a regional leader in environmental-economic accounting. The project also reinforced social statistics through support to major surveys like LECS7, contributing directly to SDG monitoring and national reporting. With a 99.8% execution rate and 93% of outputs delivered, LLPS2 stands as a strong example of effective, long-term institutional cooperation.
